First time I read it the first chapters seemed so... wrong that I almost gave up, but I kept going, and yes, I am very happy for that. The relationship is from John's POV, amd it's his doubts and sexual crisis that made me both laugh and feel uncomfortable, and than, amazed.

Or, a quiet story of depression, boredom, friendship and the importance of growing stuff not just for your brain.
Also contains language thoughts, crackers and a single bee.
Perhaps the most descriptive story of depression I've read, but not only about having depression, it's also about the person living next to the depressed person, and the fine balance between encouraging and pushing too much when someone you care about suffers from apathy. No pity, no melodrama, just a story with a glimpse in the eye and a very special way to describe depression.

I really love how the author uses the form (in the embedded version) so tell us something about Sherlock's state of mind and structure of thoughts, and how that just makes the words flow just like mercury. And the fact that lines from Loose Leaves were incorporated, wow; it just made it perfect.

A beautiful story built up on moments in Sherlock's life, primarily after he met John, but also before. And the part on how he got his coat is now adopted as my personal headcanon.
This deals with sensory issues in a nuanced way that really speaks to me. It manages to describe the 'almost-pain' the wrong form of touch can be, how sensory memories are stronger for some people, and it's description of stimming (without even using the word, just describing just how it feels; the itch, the need to do something until your brain goes back into your cranium again) is amazing and feels utterly real and relatable.
The narrative is perfect for this story, and the internal albeism is perhaps triggering for some, but it's given in a context of Sherlock's background, and his experiences, and the way John observes without words and doesn't need to put a name on things are just stunning.

This is just beautiful; psychiatry, diagnostics, addiction, younger Sherlock in rehab, therapy; it's set up to be amazing.
Interesting narrative where everything is written as transcripts from therapy sessions, notes from sessions, letters or email, so you never really knows what's happening inside the characters. The author is a professional in the field and does an amazing job portraying both the therapy, the notes from the professionals and the psychological issues.

Bipolar-Sherlock and a really believable John goes around the Western World to dissolve Moriarty's net while experiencing mania, mixed-state and depression. Also having very s/m sex during this trip, which is described psychologically in a way that makes it make so much sense and gives depth.
