Spiked punch, generally, is a dick move. Even if no one is intending to take advantage of anyone, it's still ruining the nights of everyone who didn't intend to get drunk for a cheap gag and a buzz. But for Futaba Sakura and Shinobu Hattori (aka Oracle and Joker of the Phantoms of Arcadia), it does have a silver lining - lowered inhibitions that stop them from sabotaging themselves when thinking about trying to finally progress their relationship past dating phase. Of course, when both are part-fae who developed a bit of a pain fetish to help retain sanity during enslavement by cruel Arcadian overlords who through them into gladiatorial matches constantly against the other, one's idea of the next level can get a bit...raucous.
Set during the Raucous Wake chapter of Stealing Dreams.
