Everything seemed to be going well in his life for once.

Travis looked like a startled animal as Sal smacked the letter down on his desk. “It’s been you?”
Travis’ face turned bright red, and he dropped the papers in his hands immediately. Sal knew it was him; he’s never seen Travis look like this before. Sal thought back to every time he’s spoken to Travis, every letter he’s left in Sal’s locker, every time he’s caught Travis staring at him with what he thought was disgust. It made no sense that Travis Phelps, of all people, would have a crush on him. It didn’t add up. Nothing made sense. Sal felt nauseous. Why did it have to be him?
What if Sal and Travis never met in the bathroom, but Travis actually delivered the note he wrote into Sal’s locker? Plus several more for three whole years…

The story is still in the works, and I tend to add whatever comes to mind as the story goes, so I honestly have no idea where I'm going to go with this.
"Travis scoffed to himself. Help? Nobody could help him, he was hopeless, an emotionless monster. He'd hurt Sal just for a laugh, and he knew it was wrong, too, yet did it anyway. It wasn't fair how free Sal was, not when he dyed his hair and wore those clothes, he was a freak. So why was he so happy? And why did everyone seem to love him so much? Travis did everything he could to be the perfect son in his father's image. He'd go to church, maintain good grades, do his chores, follow any order his father gave him, and try to turn people towards god, so why did he still feel so miserable?"

He limps, mutters slurred words, and stares ahead of him. A car pulls up, his father. He freezes when Travis saw him leave the car in a blind anger. Before he could defend himself, he is on the ground with a aching pain in his jaw. He can't even curl up to protect his organs because he is dragged by his arm into the car. Travis doesn't know and neither is Kenneth is aware of the prying eyes that is Sal Fisher. He had just watch that through his window. And he had a plan, but Travis would have to trust him. That will be the hard part.
