Who loves the Princess Bride movie? It’s fantastic. But when I picked up the book, I was thrown off by all of Goldman's fake footnotes (sometimes in the midst of paragraphs). I just wanted to read the story as it is with all my favorite characters and all my favorite scenes and then some.
So, out of love, I’ve went ahead and started rewriting the story. Into what it should have been, scene for scene in the hopes of finally getting it right. A little artistic liberty has been taken, of course, but overall I’m rather satisfied with this more bedtime story friendly version.
