J, N, and V have long been known for their violent behavior, gleefully feasting on thousands of workers without any remorse. So caught up in their work that they do not think about what they once were, regardless if they remember or not.
An errant lightning strike changes that, and resets them to a simpler, more innocent time. Waking up, they quickly realize that they are no longer in the manor they once worked in, nor are they in their original bodies anymore.

The library was N’s favorite place to be. The manor was huge, and there were many places that might seem better to a drone than a library filled with dusty books, but not to N. His love of the library was only spurred on by the fact that he wasn’t the only one to enjoy that place. His best friend(maybe more),V, would read with him when ever they could find some free time. Before Copper-9 and the Core Collapse, on Earth, there was a wealthy family known as the Elliotts. They lived in a fancy manor in a swamp, where they raised (and abused) their only child Tessa. The teenager's only friends were the drones she repaired from the mounds outside of her house, whom all had their... own complicated relationships.
If things were different, then perhaps those complications would have remained... But small events are happening that will perhaps bring them all closer. To clear up the tension between a few of them and make them stand stronger. All it takes is a few small changes to bring friends closer together... and become a nice, proper family of misfits.
Changes are coming for the young Elliott and her favorite drones... all while ignorant of their inevitable future. But who knows how these changes might affect what comes after that?
