A long moment of silence. Mystic Flour heard the tip of the sword swipe across the tiles. Cold metal pressing against her skin. Eyes closed as they gazed up at the heavens, unseeing. Her mind was quiet. A meditation, before death found her at last. The abyss of nothingness was where she knew she was headed. Nothing but the worst for someone that has caused as much suffering as her.
The metal left her neck. Dark Cacao hefted the soul jam sword to the side. One motion. One moment. Then all of the turmoil and suffering he had endured would be finished. Caramel Arrow, Crunchy Chip and all the others that were gone would be returned. The kingdom would be saved. He would be a hero once again.

Pavlova—or rather, the crown Prince Pavlova—takes after his mother, Queen Eternal Sugar. Though obedient, observant, and well-mannered, he at times can show a mischievous and playful spirit. Already Gone for 10 years fighting in a war which, in which no side truely won, all Dark Cacao could hope for and imagine was his son and husband waiting at home for him. However the fight didn't end in the Witches lands, it only begun there...
And what war he had thought ended in 10 years, truly had yet to end for him...for another 10 years.
Also managing to leave the war with everyone he brought with him alive, but only to loose them all in the end.

Ah… This cafe was not popular, was not unknown either. But it had a place in my life for sure. I just couldn't stop myself from coming here to take inspirations. It was at a place where you can watch many pass by. Seeing with who or what they talk, what they do, what they express and where they go. Their interactions was my inspirations for books. They seemed interesting so I wrote them. Maybe someday I'll write my own. But the thing I have wondered was, "Will I have a life like one of my stories?". Who knows?
...But today I found out that, the thing I wondered had come close. Something akin to a story in a book had happened to me...
A person, someone I haven't seen here do shifts before, had bought my order. Then asked me if I had anything else needed. To not seem uncaring I lifted my head from my laptop and answered. Or tried... What I saw before me, the person, was beautiful. Like they got out of a well written story. And the sun coming from the window just near my table was creating a more stunning look. Why haven't I seen them around here before?..

Dark Cacao's Cookie body fails him before his ascension. Mystic Flour retrieves her soul jam. And, still, the world does not end as she would like it to. It seems as though she can't use the power of resolution while its owner is still alive. No matter. She would lead Dark Cacao into a calm, easy death. She was patient. He was weak.
Caramel Arrow and Crunchy Chip are able to regroup after watching the twin dragons of legend fly into the skies of Beast-Yeast. Clearly, something has gone terribly wrong, and there is only one option. They must ascend the mountain themselves and bring their king back safely, before their kingdom deteriorates any further.
Meanwhile, Golden Cheese Cookie has lost her fight with Burning Spice, but he realizes it's much more fun having her around, and he wants to wring all possible entertainment from her. Smoked Cheese has to find her again and help her escape before Burning Spice finds him.
And...well...Pure Vanilla's plan seems to be taking much longer than he originally thought it would.

Pure Vanilla is an adventurer looking for an artifact that will aid one of his friends; an ancient spellbook guarded by a basilisk. The basilisk, as it turns out, was far more intelligent than anyone originally thought. Though his friends encourage him otherwise, he seeks to befriend the basilisk, and uncover what happened to it, the ruins, and the author of the spellbook.
Shadow Milk is pretty displeased with this whole situation. Once the most powerful mage to ever live, now cursed to slowly go insane in a body that cannot even speak, with the most cliche condition to end the curse he's ever seen, and he must now rely on a lowly human to help him out. Even if he finally managed to luck out with a human both unaffected by his curse and brave enough to step foot into the ruins, it's not like this crazy fool would kiss a beast like him!

Wind Archer, a well-known spy in the Decadent Forest, is assigned a mission to collect information from the Everlasting Flames from their second in command, Fire Spirit. After collecting information from fire spirit, he must kill Fire Spirit to prevent further conflicts between the two organizations. Fire spirit works at a restaurant owned by his organization, giving him protection in the kitchen. To collect the information, Wind Archer must form a close bond with Fire spirit, although his mission takes a massive turn, forcing him to rethink his plan.
