Summary
It starts with the death of King Itham of Fallinel. Riz's abduction by the Court of Stars would've been a non-starter if it hadn't been revealed that he was the last of the king's line after his father's sisters refused the throne. Someone should've warned the Court of Stars the consequences of taking one of their own. It's a no holds barred rescue mission and if the Bad Kids have to dismantle the Court of Stars, so be it.
But it won't end there. The Shadow Cat is manipulating events from the shadows and it's up to the Bad Kids to find out what's rotten in the material plane, no matter the cost. -

Summary
DAO, but includes canon that's not revealed until later games. Crosspost from ff, started in 2011, finished recently. All the beats of the game are there, the major plot points and decisions, etc. Think of it like some scribe holed up in a tower fifty years later got all the records he could from this story and what he puts in the official account is canon compliant.
Actual summary: What happens when the power to save a nation falls into the hands of someone who has every right to want to watch it burn? Well, here's half a million words about it. It got a mind of its own around the 250k mark, I take no responsibility from there.

What if a young Ruby had run away instead of freezing when her and Yang made their escape. Ruby was overwhelmed, she had lost everything, her mother to disappearance, her father to alcoholism and despair, and now possibly her sister, to grimm drawn towards her negativity. This is the story of Scarlet, the girl who ran.
Or “what if Ruby (and by extension Yang) were even more traumatized?” also I may have messed with the power scaling... have fun updates every other day (okay I lied I update on odd numbered days, I don’t know why but I just do) assuming I don't get writers block or have three events in a row or my adhd messes with my sense of time or... Yeah, you get it.
I don’t have any socials (other than discord and I ain’t sharin)- so if you see my handle elsewhere, it ain’t me.

Summary
What happens when you leave a conveniently placed piece of W Corp tech in the range of some greedy grubby Rats who just want to make their next big buck… and then mix in a certain bus of Sinners who just so happen to get caught in a rift that sends them all across a planet that is virtually nothing like The City they lived in? Well… you get some confused teens getting mixed up in school hi-jinx, lost 20 somethings and a child caught up in racial discourse and crime, Dante dealing with a company start-up run by 2 nerds, an overbearing veteran and Meursault, then finally… Vergilius and Charon dealing with a desert and some not so welcoming locals.
That and the overarching plot of a thousands year old immortal witch, a certain stowaway who just seems to love crushing people’s mental, and the growing butterfly effect of our dimensional interlopers. Well at least it can’t be as bad as everything they’ve gone through already… right?

Summary
Zevran had never been good at being still. The strains of music floated through his mind even in moments when the world was silent, save when Fen’dareth had led him into the Deep Roads where the silence lay thick upon the heart as well as the ears. Not moving to the near-constant symphony in his mind was a challenge even when his body was in no fit state to dance.
A challenge that he was presently failing in a spectacular fashion.
~~
This will be the 7th and final part of Pirouettes & Promises, the sweeping epic tale of Zevran and his Fen'dareth. It is likely to be long and sprawling all by itself, but as I am a dedicated discovery writer, chances are excellent we will find that out together.

Summary
Only a mage driven to insanity or desperation burned their own tissues for seidr.
Loki had far too much experience with both and even he wasn't fool enough.
But the Norns had never had mercy for the likes of Loki...Stripped of the body he'd always known, Loki is bound in his true form, that of a frost giant runt barely on the cusp of adolescence. Yet no one knows what lies under the false image of the disgraced second Prince of Asgard, certainly not Thor. Odin knows full well that Loki would not survive the truth of his lineage being uncovered, and he still had use of his stolen relic.
However – weak from months in Asgard's dungeon after barely recovering from Svartalfheim and Thanos' ministrations – Loki is stolen from Asgard's dungeons by Thor. As the only known wielder of two Infinity Stones, the Avengers hope to use Loki to uncover the reason behind their appearance on Earth. Especially in light of the Mind Stone taken form as their newest ally: the Vision.
But they are not the only ones who have use of a bound child mage.
Fate has other priorities.Series

Pariah's Rime of the Frostmaiden by CyrusJ

Summary
For two years, Icewind Dale has been trapped in an endless arctic night by Auril the Frostmaiden, the goddess of winter's fury. Surrounded by dark and cold, trapped in a land of yetis and crag cats and ice druid cultists, the people of Ten-Towns are starting to lose hope. Pariah, a tiefling from Baldur's Gate, finds herself drawn north by fate and prophecy, once again a tool of the gods.
"Fucking immortals," she sighs to herself.
This fic is a sequel to "Pariah's Descent Into Avernus", through readable as a standalone work. The story is based on the Wizards of the Coast adventure, Icewind Dale: Rime of the Frostmaiden. I've incorporated some of the suggestions from the third-party supplement, Rime of the Frostmaiden Companion by Wyatt Trull, plus other sources. I've made a few of my own changes to fit the characters and the story I want to tell.
Even if you aren't familiar with D&D, this fic should be approachable as a general fantasy story.
New chapters posted every Friday morning.
