During Ash's adventures in Alola, events turn much different than planned. Old friends return, a found family is formed, old abilities come to light and Ash must face the pain of his past while facing the biggest threat yet. But this time, he had Burnet and Kukui, all of his pokemon with him, his friends, Pikachu and Greninja, plus new friends and pokemon to support him. Oh, and Team Rocket is there too, as usual.
Man... He really wanted to flip off Arceus for this. He could probably get away with it too... He was sick of being his Chosen One.

As she travels with her new companion, she finds she really likes this kind, selfless, endearingly odd girl.
Moon makes her feel a way she never has before, she makes her feel valued, heard, wanted.
She doesn't want to know the other girl's secrets, she just wants to be around this person who makes her feel like she's worth something.

Ash has that big smile that always warms him up whenever he sees it. He doesn’t have a lot of memories from when he was really little, but he’s got this feeling - and maybe it’s more of a dream than a memory, but when he thinks back to the first thing he can remember, a fuzzy image of Ash’s smile comes up. He thinks, based on the stories he’s been told, it’s from the very first time they met. The colors feel a bit like watercolor, like paint that’s been smeared. But when he sees Ash smile like he is right now, that’s what he thinks of.

It was then that Lillie's heart drops into her stomach as she hears foreboding crows. Her head shoots up as she spots three Spearow come shooting out of the trees on the other side of the bridge. Their eyes set on Nebby.
"No!" Lillie shouts as Nebby starts to tremble, curling in on itself as the Spearow start to attack. Circling over it and pecking and clawing at Nebby.
"P-pew..." Nebby cries, in pain, Lillie can easily tell.
Lillie stares in fear as Nebby cries. Half of the bridge in between her and her pokemon.
Her breath catches, and she turns around when she thinks she heard something behind her, hopeful it's a pokemon trainer or something else that could help Nebby. But to her dismay, there's nothing there.or, The protagonist of the sun and moon games never comes to Alola. Instead, Lillie is the protagonist of her own story.

When Hau first heard the title, whispered over tea from his grandfather to Professor Kukui, the chosen one, he thought it was a grand title. It reminded him of old stories he heard from his grandfather, of those chosen by the gods, the heroes.
Of fairy tales with the knights or princes as they fight off enemies that by far were stronger than them. Of Ash.
Melemele island snowed that day, it just told Hau how grand the title was, even when whispered did it create miracles.
He didn't know at the time that Ash was at the orange islands, fighting to stop the world from imploding and nearly dying in the process. He didn't know at the time that that would be the start of forced smiles, haunted eyes, and unsaid words.
He didn't know how hurt the hero would become after facing the dragon. He didn't know how damaged the chosen ones become after years of being chosen.
He didn't know that the chosen one would be like this, lying limply in bed, blank eyes, and no energy to even bother to move.

However, not all is well back in Kalos. Team Flare is back with a mysterious ally and its founder, Lysander. In a desperate attempt to stop Lysander and this ally, Ash's Greninja and Z2 attempt to find Ash to warn him about Lysander's return. However, everything is on thin ice, and who knows who this ally of Lysander is! Only time can tell!
