Okay, to date, THIS is THE PINK STEVEN FIC OF ALL TIME. A whole theme-park of emotions, light-hearted fun mixed with heavy angst. Pink!Steven and Classic!Steven have such wholesome brotherly bond and i just want the both of them to be happy! Also feels the most "in-canon" or "realistic" for Steven's gem half in the case that the organic half does not survive.
Also, the passion and neurodivergence of the author really jumps off the page in the best way! Comrade in SU obsession.

Summary
Separated at birth, Steven and his gem, renamed Floret, find themselves living vastly different lives. While Floret enjoys the familiarity of Greg and the Crystal Gems, Steven goes through the unpredictable rollercoaster of foster care and ends up living with the Onion Family. After they unexpectedly reunite in high school, their paths are once again intertwined though neither of them realize it.

Summary

She finds a Pearl who lies through her teeth and begs her to steal Pink Diamond away from Homeworld. She finds that Steven is something extraordinary. She finds that nobody knows the full story of the night when the rebel leader Rose Quartz was shattered by the villainous Pink Diamond.
She finds that she doesn't know much at all.
