Summary
The Yamanaka were one of the primary families involved in Konoha’s interrogation and information business. They were known for it. Beyond it just being a specialty, it was their responsibility to know more than anyone else in the village. Ino, more than anyone other than perhaps Shikamaru should have noticed the discrepancies that seemed to follow Naruto.
How much of what she knew was based on assumptions and rumors?

Tim's boyfriend comes back from the dead, and all he wants is to keep him *safe.* But everyone seems to think he's insane for doing this.
Danny just wants to study aerospace engineering someplace he's unlikely to get kidnapped and dissected (again). But when he overhears a certain vigilante nearly in tears while on the phone with some guy who sounds like a dick...well, he can't keep his nose out of it. Combine that with a unfairly hot, extremely sleep-deprived regular at his coffee shop, and Danny is getting way more caught up in Gotham drama than he ever intended.

Masters jumps at the opportunity to use Danny as a substitute for his Obsession, training Danny to be his heir and experimenting on him in turn. It all changes when Masters blusters his way into various parties to gain influence, wielding Danny as a pity-card, and they gain the notice of Bruce Wayne (abused-and-orphaned-children Foster Dad Extraordinaire).
