Magic bound to stone. Timeless history.
Animus Stone should be a saviour--a doctor that can heal anything the body can break. But behind the mask that he wears lies something most would not dare name. Something far more human than they'd accept. Sinister. Hurt. (And favoured by a goddess whose love is cruel.)
His sisters call him brother, but all three of them know that they barely know each other. Or, at least, less than they should to survive this. (They should regret it, for there is no other way to survive.)
As the awaited third of a prophecy older than the empire their kingdom is built on top of, Animus' life becomes a whirlwind--even death is the surface. (Yet death cannot claim the returnee, as the prophecy has decreed.)

Though much has happened in the nineteen years he has lived, he’d never thought it would lead to this. Prince Animus Stone desires few things; death, compassion, and solidarity. Unfortunately, the mess that occurs isn’t part of it and what he wishes for he never gets.
Thráxi Stone doesn’t really have friends, only three people she trusts with her life. Though they must go through pain, that bond is proven to be worth it. Perhaps, she could even help her brother, even if it means death.
