"Hush, Pom-Pom," Jax cooed, eyes never leaving Caine's, even as his hands tightened, a faint crick sound from his strained teeth drawing a strangled gasp from Caine's mouth. He yanked back again, mostly on instinct, pain radiating out from the grip on his jaw, knees bracing against the floor in his efforts to escape. Jax simply watched it happen, unblinking, pressing his jaw open a little wider.
"We have some unfinished business that doesn't concern you. Don't we, song man?"
Crack.

After the events of the movie, Hypno-Potamus suddenly and inexplicably finds himself growing friendlier with the turtles he once called his enemies. As they start to get closer, his life takes a turn that he never expected for himself, but that he finds he quite likes.
Or, in simpler terms; Hypno, and by extension Warren, get the redemption arc I think they deserve, and become the Hamato children’s weird gay uncles. Prepare for a shit ton of familial bonding, identity crises, near-death experiences, and queer joy!

When Pomni starts to slip into dissociation, Jax is left with a problem he can’t joke his way out of: staying. Sitting with the fear instead of mocking it. Being loud enough to keep her grounded when her thoughts won’t cooperate.
The circus doesn’t stop being cruel. Nothing is magically fixed.
But for one quiet stretch of time, neither of them has to face it alone.

Or, Caine makes a different choice leading to a different kind of episode 7, which ends in the humans taking him with them when they eventually find a real chance to escape. And he finds something he truly enjoys.human names!

"Are the lights...bothering you?"
From deep within his robe, Kinger nodded, then he muttered in a strained, broken voice.
"Everything is bothering me."
(During an especially overwhelming adventure, Kinger starts to have a meltdown and is unwillingly found by Zooble.)

The unexpected duo has to take it upon themselves to try and pinpoint where the others are, but of course, chaos ensues.

The rest of the troop had split, or run, or chased each other around demanding answers. Pomni was willing to let Zooble go after Jax without picking a side. She was willing to let Ragatha go hide with Kinger. She was willing to let Gangle vanish wherever she had.
She wasn’t willing to let Caine avoid her. And she had an observation to test.
