Summary
In an alternate universe where Jason Todd finishes his training with the League of Assassins and simply returns home, Damian asks him why he has never confronted Bruce on the matters surrounding his death.
Or: Jason and Damian have a heart to heart, and I fail miserably in an attempt to write angst.

Summary
No, that was wrong. He did still have something. He might be dead on the inside, but he still had one last thing to cling to. The Alley for all its many, many imperfections never turned it’s back on one of its own. After all, who were they to judge? They were all just like him. Lost in their own way and, more than a little bit crazy.
“ Breaking news! A mysterious benefactor has donated a VERY generous sum of 1.5 million dollars to the Park Row school district! I’m being told by my producers I have to use the proper name on air, but to any would-be thugs watching this broadcast, please don't mug me next time I swing by Crime Alley for suspiciously cheap Chinese food. I swear I'm not a rich idiot!”

Summary
Jason does not understand why The Boy keeps returning. There is nothing for him to return to. Jason is just an empty husk of a person. A film someone stubbornly refuses to turn off, even though the credits have long since finished rolling.
“You won’t tell my Mother of our meetings will you Brother? Not that I’m doing anything wrong! Of course, as the Heir to the Demons Head, I have the authority to go wherever I please within the walls of the league! But still…”
Again and again, despite receiving little to no response, he continues to visit him.
The Boy, Jason decides at last, must be very lonely.

Summary
The subject of consternation that had so thoroughly grabbed the attention of both the older men standing right outside Drake Manor, was located on said Manor’s inhabitants face. More specifically, on the lower section of his face.
Timothy Jackson Drake had a goatee.
A cartoonishly long, unjustifiably defined, stereotypically evil goatee.
A muffled sound not unlike that of a dying animals escaped from the back of Dick’s throat.
(Or, a slightly unconventional story about healing.)

Summary
She tried to shake him. Tried to call his name. But no matter how much she begged, how much she fought to wake him, he didn’t respond.
And she couldn’t help but wonder—was this the price she paid for trying to defy fate?
Would things have been different, if she had instead embraced the path she had already been bound for? If she had put on a cape and become the hero she had long resisted becoming, would she have been able to save him?
In the end, none of her speculations mattered.
Not anymore.
It was far too late for regrets.

Summary
“Papa?”
Tim felt a shiver run up his spine. Possibly an existential protest from the universe against meddlesome superheroes once again defying its laws to save the day. Possibly just his survival instincts breathing their last dying breath, who could really say.
Slowly, he looked down.
The child—this tiny, fragile thing—was staring up at him, her enormous blue eyes shimmering with unshed tears. She had a button nose, two impossibly chubby cheeks, and a face that was far too young for whatever the hell had just happened.
And, most disturbingly, she looked exactly like him.
(Or! Tim's future baby daughter gets deposited on his lap via hand wavey science magic. Cue wholesome shenanigans! )

Summary
Stephanie’s legs trembled. Her heart was a trapped bird in her throat, as she whispered out a desperate, “please, just eat me.”
Then, as if registering what she just said she let out an even more desperate scream,
“Please don’t eat me!”
Batman sighed. He actually sighed, and somehow that was so much worse. Like he’d resigned himself to the fact that, yes, she didn’t have a lot of meat on her, but he would have to suck it up because she was what the universe had served up for dinner tonight.
He reached out a gloved hand towards her. It was just one limb. Steady and gentle, like the way you might approach a growling, wounded puppy.
She wondered if Batman ate puppies too.
(Or, A chaotic SI in the DC world with faulty knowledge of canon does her best to make Bruce's life difficult for my sick pleasure! :D )

Summary
“That,” she said, pointing accusingly, “is exactly the kind of thing a Thomas would say.”
Tim stared at her. Then blinked once. Then twice.
“Oh my god,” he whispered aghast. “You’re right. No way– is my name– is it actually Thomas?”
“Always has been,” Stephanie said with immediate finality, like she’d solved all the mysteries of the universe.
Thomas shoved his homework aside, now fully devoted to questioning his entire existence. Stephanie ignored his mental spiral and cracked open her book, flipping through the pages with manic energy. It was one of those thick, badly photocopied guides on cryptids and urban legends.
At last, she found the page she was looking for. Flattening the paper with both hands, and pointed eagerly to the grainy image of Bigfoot at the top.

Summary
“What exactly do you mean by that, Mr. Drake-Wayne!? Is this you confirming the allegations?”
At that, Tim’s brow furrowed deeply. His lips parted, and he tilted his gaze just slightly upward, letting the streetlight catch his cheekbones in the most cinematic way possible. He looked like a teen actor playing Hamlet in a school production.
Jason slapped a hand over his face. He’s doing a bit he thought. The little psycho’s doing a bit on live TV.
“W-well,” Tim began, stammering just enough to sound authentic, “as long as all of me and my siblings have known him, Bruce has always had a very… special relationship with… someone that he sponsors. We all thought–
My siblings and I thought he just couldn’t bring himself to talk about it in public. With how complicated everything was.”
The reporter startled, nearly fumbling the mic. “I’m sorry, what exactly are you implying—”
(Or, Time Drake wakes up and decides to ruin Bruce's day. Jason Todd wakes up and decides to ruin Bruce's whole life.)
