Kris broke their promise. They knew the hell they would unleash by refusing to open a dark fountain in Flower King, and still, they couldn’t bring themself to do it. They crawled through an open window into the school, and tossed themself into the abyss at the bottom of the supply closet.
What they didn’t count on was for Susie to follow them.
From the southernmost point in Castle Town, she saw it all—the Knight’s arrival, the fountains bursting from the dark. Even the cell phone Kris left behind, still whirling and shrieking its incoherent tones. Then, suddenly, it turned on, and a single contact appeared: Noelle.
In the crumbling remains of Castle Town, it’s up to Ralsei and Susie to save the prophecy, the darkeners, and in fact, the world as they know it. Armed with a fading connection to the chaos unfolding in the dark, Noelle faces the daunting task of recruiting the refugees of Castle Town for one final battle.

After the thrill of the TV World Christmas Party, Spamton returns home to spend the holidays with his family, the Addisons, only to be turned away at their doorstep. But as he makes his way back to Tenna, he crashes the Cungadero and must trek the snow-covered roads of the TV World alone to reach him.
Upon reunification, Spamton is anxious to spend the holidays with not only Tenna, but also the Addisons, who have joined Tenna's crew in Castle Town. -

Instead of answering, he unplugged it he yanked out the power cord, unplugging it from the wall. He climbed back into bed, straddling Tenna. “Now where were we?”Everything's going great! Tenna's officially made Spamton his business partner, AND they stopped their employees from unionizing!
... Except their employees are threatening to sue them over their "sexual activities during work hours". Spamton's too busy with his other job and obligations to spend time with Tenna outside of work. What's to become of their situationship? Why does a mysterious phone caller keep pestering Spamton about his sex life? And how, pray tell, is Spamton supposed to afford prenatal care when his contract at TV Time doesn't provide health insurance?
Takes place in the same universe as What Do You Mean My Employees Want to Be Paid in Dark Dollars Instead of Points?!? though both are intended to be standalones.

After his near-fatal encounter with the Roaring Knight, Tenna is desperately trying to look forward, not back. He is ready for a new lightner home and a fresh outlook on life. Only one thing is making him hesitate - a vivid memory of someone making the necessary repairs that saved his life. Someone who felt a lot like Spamton.
A shaky reunion in Castle Town brings Tenna and Spamton back to being partners once more - for now, at least. But Tenna is determined not to repeat the past. This time, he is going to get to the bottom of all of this phone nonsense, because they are NOT going to take Spamton away again. And, with Tenna at his side, Spamton will finally let go of what he thinks he should be, and learn how to build the life that he actually wants.
