I love Jane Austen and "Persuasion" is my favorite novel. I love Miraculous Ladybug and writing fanfics for this fandom. This is dear to my heart and no matter how long it takes, I will finish this!

This is more a recount of what happened on elia's life, focused on her role as mother and wife. This is set in canon so there are descriptions of how she and her children died.
Many fanfic writers and people in general tend to undereestimate what elia endured after rhaegar and lyanna ''eloped'' and i think that is mainly because we only know her by the accounts of other people, so i made this to be easier to try to put us in her shoes.

Robert Baratheon still tries to bed a Florent at his brother’s wedding. This time though, he’s far drunker and goes after the bride who has gone to refresh while her groom is politely dancing with her pretty cousin.
She and the king are discovered in a compromising position by some of the guests and her wedding turns into a scandal. With a soiled reputation she is forced to return to her family's keep in shame while the baratheon brothers fight with each other.
Surprisingly -and after long long negotiations- she ends up married not to a household knight or petty lord who already has an hord of children.
Her destiny was always to marry high but this time the husband choosen for her ends up being a man who was never meant for marriage.
At 290 ac, Lady Selyse Florent and Prince Oberyn Martell marry at sunnspear.

It shines a light upon what is behind the little knowledge that there is of the conquerors' polygamous marriage and the secrets and intricacies of within it. More so, it is the tale of how one of the three realised how she had better use of her marriage hand, and all the wonders, tragedies, and strife this brought about.
A shame such a tale could only ever be presumed to have happened within the bounds of a senile mind looking to the eyes of The Stranger.

“This is one thing I don’t want to leave behind,” Harry replied, quietly. “Who knew I’d leave London a single man and return from Blaise Zabini’s bachelor party, married to Draco Malfoy?”
Draco flipped over so that their noses nearly touched. “I always knew,” he mumbled. “It was always you.”
Harry felt a warmth bloom in his chest, and, hooking his leg over Draco’s hip, pulled him even closer. “Why’d you wait ‘til now?”
Draco smiled against his shoulder, and Harry took a mental snapshot of his shy smile. He wondered how he got to be the one to see it.

Prompt #1 Imagine that after Helwater Jamie comes home and Jenny insists he marry Mary McNab instead of Laoghaire. Jamie finally relents and they set up a happy home filled with respect that develops into real, deep phileo love. It may not be the rock your world type of love that Jamie and Claire had/have but it is solid. Then after 20 years, Claire returns… This one could be really, really angst filled.
Prompt #2 We all know that if Jamie had to remarry, Laoghaire was probably the best person for him to marry as a marriage to her was never going to work (between her unrealistic expectations, her jealousy of Claire and Jamie’s apathy after his return from Helwater). My question is: don’t you think that if he had married someone (like a Mary McNabb but who wouldn’t necessarily have seen him with Claire) other than Laoghaire, someone he might have actually become friends with and grown to have a genuine affection for, it would have been much harder to reconcile the situation after Claire’s return especially if they had actually had a child or children together? I would think that he wouldn’t have left his second wife in this situation or would have brought her with him to Edinburgh.
