Summary

Based off of the Cartoon Network City commercial bumpers, this story is a collection of vignettes of the lives of the SNK crew as they live alongside toons in a modern city. A murderer has killed Ben Tennyson, a popular character on the stream, and murder detectives Garfield (Formerly known as Beast Boy) and Mandy are the first ones on the scene. Meanwhile, defense attorney Blossom Utonium is caught right in the middle of the mystery after a humiliating case sends her to reconnect with her sister. And finally, Ed is a ex-con looking for a way to get rich quick, only to find himself stuck in between a powerful scientist and the killer himself. Can these three find out who is behind this gruesome murder, or is the stream doomed to be destroyed?
[What is CN Noir? CN Noir is a murder mystery set within the Cartoon Network Universe. It was a fun little CYOA project I did a while back on 4chan. I posted the characters, and then let /co/ choose the choices I laid out for them. I couldn't really keep it going though, so I decided to make it a regular fanfiction. The story is told through three main protagonists: Beast Boy from Teen Titans, Ed from Ed, Edd n' Eddy and Blossom from The Powerpuff Girls.]

As the world seemingly works to set her off course, she races against the clock, fearful of the possibility that her whole life will be spent searching for a phantom. Ladybug and Chat Noir, along with the rest of Ms. Bustier's class travel to the island city of Townsville - home to many superheroes, like the Powerpuff Girls, Ben Tennyson, Juniper Lee and others. Hawk Moth has mysteriously shown up in Townsville as well and has started akumatizing the Cartoon Network heroes and it's up to Ladybug and Chat Noir to save the day.

This story is also a short spin-off of another much larger one, that is strictly about the Cartoon Network characters and their adventures in Townsville. I call it "Sea 'n City" and it's something I've been working for the past decade or so, but while it's still not nearly close to being finished, CN Akumas can act as an introduction to the world.
