Harry doesn’t mean to meet Draco Malfoy in the Astronomy Tower after curfew.
He definitely doesn’t mean to go back.Fifth year at Hogwarts is already a mess of expectations he never asked for and a war everyone insists he’s responsible for. The last thing he needs is the distraction of Draco’s sharp tongue, sharp eyes, and the way he softens only when the castle is asleep.

Being born in a full blown pure blood family was really not for the kind hearted, that is what Draco has realized over the years. Being a Malfoy had specific requirements, is something else he’s had to know over the years as well.
There was no such thing as ‘love’ in marriage, or relationships. All relationships were built to get you somewhere. His mother, Narcissa, was a bachelorette from the Black family. His father, Lucius, was a bachelorette from the Malfoy family. They simply married to create heirs to the Malfoy name… and that’s where Draco came in. To carry on his family name, to keep it going for generations.
Love was just another word in a simple dictionary, a word he was never familiar with.
