The names Jack Drake and Janet Drake are signed in a neat cursive over the signature boxes and sent back to Bruce’s email.

The first step to any great heist is to be extra prepared. To have an alibi and the evidence to back it up. So while Tim isn’t sure that this necessarily counts as a heist, that is the first thing he does when he settles on the plan to break into the Bat Cave. Which means that his story has to have a backbone before he tells it.
So he starts with doctoring the documentation of Amelia Brown, his live-in nanny.
