When the Knothole Freedom Fighters responds to an S.O.S to investigate suspicious activity located near a relay station and encounter the Destructix, they assumed that Scourge's gang was the threat to the relay station's safety. They would be mistaken for they are all under threat by an entity calling themselves the Gamester. As both groups quickly learn, they are merely unwilling players in a dangerous game of life or death hosted by the unknown foe and the cost of failure is their own lives.
Union between uneasy allies will be crucial, cooperation between enemies will be vital and teamwork between people on opposite sides will be essential...
