He broke up with Liz Allan, the girl he’s been tutoring and whom he has developed genuine feelings for, in a misguided attempt to start dating Gwen, and now, she hates his guts
And speaking of hating his guts, Black Cat still hasn’t talked to him after what happened with her father
It all ends up becoming too much for the poor hero, who decides to end it all
But in a surprise turn of events, not only does Peter survive, but he also gains new powers and a new perspective in life. So now, he’s decided to stop wallowing in self-pity and start making a difference

When I have enough not-being-depressed to work on my art skills to a point where I don't actively hate how it looks as a finished product I'm gonna make a fanfiction comic series called Local Hero, but for now I really need to get my ideas out so I'm writing the one I'm most passionate about as prose
I am more interested in character development than character relations, so expect this to be closer to a synopsis of an actual comic written by a beginner (emphasis on beginner) than a fanfiction written by a fan who loves the characters (though that certainly applies)
This is also an AU fic, the specific AU cannot be described in a short way, but the main points are more edge (though I try to keep it manageable) and less powerful characters
Anyway, please give any and all criticism you have, but try to keep it constructive. I don't take anything to heart, I just see them as viewpoints on my art that I will keep in mindSeries

For protection reasons, Peter and Harley have not announced to the world who their parents truly are. They tell their class that they have an internship with Tony Stark. This leads to some bullying from Flash. Life is fine until it is announced that they will be going on a field trip to Stark Industries AKA the tower AKA where Peter and Harley live. The two expect nothing less than being embarrassed by their father, but do not expect to get beat up by Flash in the middle of the tour causing Irondad to step in to help.

My name is Peter Parker,” he said into the handheld audio recorder, “and this is my two-hundred twenty-first test of Project Flashpoint. Alright, little guy, let’s do this for hopefully the last time...”
After setting down the recorder, Peter then slid on his gloves before lifting the lid of the small enclosure. He then reached down and, taking the barely visible piece of nanotechnology and setting it on his fingertip, he slowly reached down towards his little mouse friend he’d affectionately named Steve, because that was the best possible name for such a creature and not at all just the first name that had popped into his head. The tiny creature lost the use of his back legs a year ago, and Peter had been seeking to help the little tyke overcome the effects en route to doing the same for Flash and hopefully millions of others.
“Alright, little buddy,” he said as he slowly lowered his finger containing the small device towards the creature. “Nice and easy...”
