Training had paid off and here she was, watching the ball arc perfectly through the air to Lucio Kato.

A breeze brushes past, and Hinata’s eyes shimmer. “I think I know why it’s hard to say Brazil… goodbye.”
“Why?” Kageyama asks, as gently as possible.
“Maybe because I really grew here. This place… this beach, this sand. It made me strong… a lot stronger. I’ve no regrets. Just a lot of… gratitude. I don’t know if I’m making sense.”

Shoyo leads his life by listening to his heart. Its rhythm runs through his body, it lets him know when he needs to run and jump and be free. It beats the loudest when he plays beach volleyball.
When he inevitably moves back to Japan, into a new neighborhood, and a new school, he struggles to find the one thing that makes his heart burst with joy. So, when a new opportunity arises, he has to do what he does best.

Three tall men crowding around a bundled up baby, cooing at her as if she were a puppy. Isis was wide awake by now. Atsumu took a picture without them noticing.
He eyed the only man on the couch. Sakusa locked eyes with him and said, “I’m not getting close to her.”
“She ain’t a bomb,” he huffed, sitting on the same couch.
“She might as well be,” Sakusa retorted but Atsumu didn’t push it. Babies weren’t dirty per se, but you never knew when they would poop, or vomit, or burp, or fart…

“What’s that smell?” Tomas asked, grimacing and covering his nose. Bokuto was about to do the same but his arms were occupied with Isis.
Nice and Heitor visit Shoyo in Japan, along with their five month-old daughter Isis.
