Upon meeting a stranger with lots of energy and hair bright as his smile, his world is tilted a little. But there is a weird sense of familiarity that seems to deepen with every passing day. It just feels like he has known Kaminari for a longer time that he has. When strange things start to happen in the town, all starting with 'the dream', his world is derailed completly.

He spends his time driving on dirt roads outside city limits in borrowed cars and picking fights with energetic blonds. Late night drives, spilled drinks, and penny arcades introduce him to a slower way of life, making him question the merits of his fast-paced career.
As the days drag on, Katsuki starts to worry about what he'll find when he returns home. Has his coach found someone new to replace him? Will he be forgotten after a few months of radio silence? Why isn't his agent returning his calls?
If only the redheaded mechanic would stop looking at him like he had something to offer, he could focus on getting the hell out of this strange town.
