“What did you do?” Phil asked his middle child making his way into the living room.
“I said it wasn’t me!” Techno yelled after him.
The scream turned into big dramatic cries and there was another voice aggressively shushing the first. Phil emerged through the doorway connecting the kitchen and the living room to find his youngest child crying on the floor.
Tommy’s mouth was glowing blue and there was a matching trail down his chin. The same substance was staining his fingers and shirt. In his tiny fist were two empty glow stick tubes, bite marks on both.
Wil was hovering over him trying to get him to quiet down but once he saw Phil in the doorway he stood up straight and hung his head. Phil shot him a look that said ‘We will talk about this in a second.’_____________________

“Where’s Tommy?” Techno urgently asked, scanning any rocks or possible hiding spots. How did they forget to keep an eye on him? Fucking christ. They wouldn’t be winning any brother of the year awards.
Wilbur began to panic, flicking his tail and swimming to investigate where their little brother could’ve gone.
“TOMMY?” the twins called out in unison, overturning large shells or stones. But they didn’t find the small mer in any of his typical hiding spots.
“TOMMY!” Techno shouted, cupping his hands around his mouth. “TOMMY! COME HERE.”
No one replied.

The Crow Man fell in love with a goddess that granted him some children as company, but the Crow Man’s kids were stolen by an angry mob and hidden all around the world, so now, every autumn, the Crow Man sends out his crows in search of his lost children. It always stops on the Day of the Dead, though, to honor his goddess love.”
“Well, he’s not gonna find any lost children here,” Techno snorted.

"Greetings!” Tantalus calls, his brown curls bouncing in a way that reminds him of Wilbur. His many wives and other female “friends” surround him. “Dinner will begin shortly, but my eldest wishes to show you her skills on the lute!”He doesn’t usually enjoy songs sung about what he’s like, but all the specific lyrics and poems about death is making him unsettled.
As people begin to get seated, servants arrive with trays of food specifically tailored to each god. Philza wonders if he’ll get pomegranates.
He watches Quackity’s face scrunch up as he is given honeyed food. Practically everything on the other’s plate is coated with honey. He chuckles at the sight when suddenly the feeling of doom overtakes him sharply. He feels a sharp pain in his chest. He tries to keep his face neutral as his body seems to be shutting down.

“I know! It’s awful! There’s nothing to do! Steve’s the only one who will play with me. Mom’s mean,” Techno frowns. The crow hops closer to Techno’s foot and Techno slowly pats its head. He smiles when the crow jumps and knocks its head against Techno’s hand and relaxes when Techno resumes petting it. “I wish I could be like you one day and fly away,” Techno whispers, praying that his Mom isn’t listening in on him right now.The crow hops away from Techno’s hand and moves to stand at the still-open window. “What are you–” The crow lets out a loud CAW! and Techno winces. His mom definitely heard that. Techno nudges the creature out onto the ledge and shuts the window. “I’m sorry, but I can’t let her think you were in here or she’ll kill you.” The crow pecks the closed window. As though he were annoyed that he was locked out and was patiently waiting to be let back in.

It had only been half a year since Kristin’s death, and Philza still struggled with looking at his side at night and finding children there rather than a wife whom he loved, but he was coming to terms with her death and the fact that she wasn’t there anymore.
He shook it off and continued his work, not noticing the rising tensions in some of the guards that didn’t tell him of a possible threat for fear of him trying to take matters into his own hands. He didn’t notice the maids and cooks that checked every meal and room for traps and poisons everyday, every moment. He did notice that the boys were more closely watched, but he assumed that they’d been up to some mischief and also shook that off.
Maybe the red flag he should’ve noticed before he went to bed that night was the unfamiliar guard in his closet that would take him and his boys in the night and he wouldn’t even know until he was awoke in his own orchard surrounded by some other lord’s guards.

Not to mention the three kids, Technoblade, Wilbur and Tommy now have their hair covered in melted crayons trying to copy a book they found. This is what happens during that day, and how the their boys ended up with pink and white hair.

“You really thought we were friends?” Wilbur taunted, standing akimbo on the steps. Techno stood beside him and nodded, his arms crossed over his chest.
Tommy bit his cheek. It was just a game… right? But why did it feel so real?
“What?” he asked, confused.
He moved up the steps, but the twins turned away and ran out of view. Childishly, he followed, like he always did.
He reached the top of the steps and saw Techno darting behind one of the railings. The twins were much faster than him, unfortunately, as they were older. They seemed to be waiting, though, so hope sparked in his chest.
