A bright blue lantern glows at his hip, cutting through the fog. It almost seems to serve as a protective ward of sorts - Varka can barely see any fog that surrounds the man’s figure.
He’s so pretty, what the fuck, Varka thinks, and promptly runs face-first into the biggest gravestone that he has ever had the misfortune to come across.

On his way to Nod-Krai, Varka receives a letter with a strange request. A potentially dangerous entity has been wreaking havoc on Nod-Krai's land despite its involvement with keeping the Wild Hunt at bay, and for some reason, they believe Varka is their last hope.
Personally, Varka doesn't think he can help much. But the snow leopard that keeps showing up and the pretty man that keeps saving his life might hold the keys to Nod-Krai's mystery.

So, when he is sent by his boss to investigate on an Ability outside of Japan, he obliges, like the dog he is, constricted by gravity to the ground, though he was the user, always the urge to fly, to be free of gravity itself—
He departs to the place of the distrubances and encounters a new world, and stumbles upon a City of Freedom, where a bard with unsettling aqua green eyes— the breeze which brings storm or seeds, stories or destruction— offers him what his heart yearned for— Freedom.

The number of Abyss-related attacks in Mondstadt has been suspiciously high, and Master Jean is stumped. It seems she may have to step in to protect her city soon, but she has no clue what she's up against. Kaeya has yet to come in to report on the Falcon Coast incident, and nobody else knows the full story.
She's grateful for Diluc's company and support, and she's happy to see he's warmed up a little more—even to Kaeya. It takes her back to a simpler time. When she played outside with her friends, when she didn't carry the weight of the world on her shoulders, when she had a sister.
She's been wanting to reach out to Barbara for ages, but she's never found the time. Or perhaps it was courage she was lacking. What if they'd grown too far apart by now? There's only one way to find out, but she might not have time for that right now.
Her city needs her. Her people need her. And she will never run away from her duty.

Or; class 2-A goes to Teyvat Academy, which is rumoured to be brainwashing their people and giving them false quirks called visions, to save their citizens and take Teyvat's government to the world court and expose their crimes.
But Teyvatians, who in fact do not need saving, are so done with their efforts to invade their land and decide to teach them a lesson.

Varka has been in Nod-Krai for a while and decides to drink to celebrate another victory. As Flins walks in to the bar they chat together, after a few drinks Varka invites Flins over to his room to chat. After a bit of chatter ,Varka whilst drunk kisses Flins. Flins first leans into it and eventually finds himself at odds with his feelings. Flins leaves the scene and avoiding Varka from now on. Varka remembers the day after when he wakes up from his hang over. Now saddened Flins most likely does not want to see him, Varka decides to take matters into his own hands whilst Flins is struggling with his feelings with the Grandmaster. Flins also struggles with his insecurity and the fact that Varka fell in love with a Fae out of all people.
