Twin dragons were symbolic in the fire nation, their image almost as known throughout the nation like the nation's scarlet flag donning every street. Although it was tales of the red dragon representing honour and goodness, while the blue dragon representing seduction and evil that was little known outside the Royal family.
It was almost fate that Azula dreamed of twin dragons dancing, saw remnants of them cross over into her waking moments... maybe it was fate, the spirits always worked in mysterious ways.
Too bad her mother never had the mind to warn her from the lure of the blue.
