CatCo hires a bold new journalist and she’s no fan of Supergirl. Soon, she's the hottest thing in National City, whilst Kara can seemingly only watch.
How will Kara cope as she becomes less popular and National City slowly finds someone new to admire? Someone who neither respects or fears her, and in fact enjoys taking Supergirl down a peg.
This is a story where Kara can’t (or won’t) solve things with punches, but finds herself in over her head against someone that dominates her through sheer force of personality. Where Kara's optimism seems to be thwarted at every turn.
It is also a story of desire and manipulation. And hopefully a story that doens't go in the direction you think it will.
