Sometimes the journey isn't over once you get home. Peter and Olivia find their way back to each other.
*I wrote this back when the show aired. It started as a post-ep to the Season 2 finale and mushroomed into a full, plot-driven piece with ten chapters. I've been meaning to add it here for years. I'll put up the chapters one at a time over the next few weeks, so bear with me :)

Summary
Peter's gone, the Tarot Murders are still unsolved, and more cases are popping up, all draining her little by little. With no temporary Anchor and a team-up with some agents with their own secrets, the last thing Chloe needs is to have her bond start to fail. Just her luck. No stalling anymore. The Selection for Anchor has just begun whether she wants to or not.
*This is also a slight crossover with my The Mortal Vessel series, and is set after the events of Jace Morgenstern's Uncharacteristic Struggle.

This started out as a fill for the Fringe Kinkmeme prompt, "Lincoln/Olivia (or anyone over here) - quantum entangled typewriters and long-distance relationships."

Summary
Fauxlivia escapes, leaving behind a path of destruction and broken hearts. While the show does wonders in walking us through Olivia's trauma of having someone steal her life and taint every aspect of herself, violating her most private thoughts and relationships, Peter's pain kind of takes a backseat. What if...there was someone there to help him? What if Peter had some other release valve for his trauma, other than going on a killing spree?

If you're holding heroes in reserve, now's the time." And the conversation takes some very weird turns from there.
This was written when the first full trailer for The Avengers (2012) was all we had to go on about Loki's threat to the Earth.
I have no idea how else to describe this bit of crossover insanity... all I can say is it could have happened this way, in some universe.... It's short, just read and enjoy! :)
