Victor Nikiforov is an enigma to people and scientists alike, urban legends telling the story of how he turned to gold on the night of a medal ceremony in 1952, a living statue that could only be awakened by the touch of his soulmate. Being that he was put on public display decades ago, it has become a large trend to take a shot at holding his hand just to see if he would wake up. Hundreds of movies had been made of exactly that, but none have cracked the encased beauty out of his shell of gold in the real world. So it shouldn't be any different for Yuuri to do the exact same thing as everyone else, right? It's not like anything would happen, the most he would get out of it would be an Instagram post.
Yuuri would never be special enough to touch him in the first place, much less deserve to be his soulmate.

Summary
Yuuri loves film. He loves the way it makes him feel emotions he never knew he could feel, see places he never thought he could see, and dream bigger than what anyone told him was possible. Yuuri loves film, and he will dedicate his life to perfecting it in any way possible.
Viktor loves film... or, at least he used to. He still vaguely remembers how it felt before it all became too much. Too much pressure, too much power, too many expectations. Viktor used to love film, and he doesn’t know if he ever will again.
Or, Yuuri is a filmmaker who appreciates his privacy, Viktor is an actor who loves Yuuri’s movies, but has no idea who Yuuri is. Somehow, someway Viktor manages to land the lead role in Yuuri’s newest passion project (much to Yuuri’s surprise).

Phichit miró fijamente a Yuuri. Su hijo de veinte años (que pronto cumplirá veintiuno) acababa de mencionar "retiro" y "hace años" en una frase. Incluso agregó 47 en algún lugar allí.

Fifty-five-year-old Katsuki Yuuri was alone in the world after the deaths of his husband and their pseudo-son some twenty years before. He wouldn’t have made it much longer if he hadn’t felt called to enter a strange little eclectic shop in St. Petersburg. The owner offered him a choice he couldn’t refuse: go back in time to correct a wrinkle in fate that changed their destiny or go on living half a life.
He accepted her offer.
But that’s not quite what ended up happening. As a baby, Yuuri had bits and pieces of memories from the future to go off of, but he wasn’t an adult. Not really. Through his memories, he possessed enough knowledge to make fitting in with his peers difficult, but not enough maturity to liken his current self to his adult self. He was somewhere in the middle and fairly embarrassed about the whole ordeal because he knew he should feel like (and have the impulse control of) an adult. But he doesn’t, and he’s aware that he’s lacking.
Good thing he’s not trying to preserve the timeline...

He had helped himself to some punch when he saw him. The man was standing in a group of people talking. Yuuri let himself really take in his appearance. He had long platinum blonde hair pulled back into a mid ponytail, a thick braid wrapping from the front right side of his face to the back, and the ends lightly curled, a few of them falling over his shoulders. From there Yuuri let his eyes wander down. He was wearing an obviously expensive silk button-up tucked into tight black high-waisted pants, and the top half was unbuttoned, revealing his porcelain white skin underneath, a wonderful contrast to the dark colors. The man took this moment to laugh. Head tilted back, voice echoing right into Yuuri’s ears, and felt that long lost feeling in his gut.

He’s on Yuuri’s bed, sitting cross-legged with his head propped in his hand. “I would imagine that it wouldn’t take longer than fifteen minutes to get through that page, but perhaps not.” He gasps, a teasing little thing, “your intelligence might be waning! Quick, get Yura!”
A laugh slips from Yuuri.
“Sure,” he says. He sets the textbook down, turning Viktor’s way. “Are you also able to imagine what’s on my mind? Would you like to share with the class?”
Yuuri watches Viktor’s eyes melt. He wants to press his lips against them. He wants to stop thinking crudely against his roommate. He wants to feel like it’s okay to love him and potentially be loved back.
He wants to love and be loved.

Phichit stared blankly at Yuuri. His twenty-year-old (soon to be twenty-one-year-old) son had just mentioned 'retirement' and 'years ago' in one sentence. He even added 47 somewhere in there.
“Huh...”
“Phichit?”
“Huh?”
“Err... I did tell you I have no explanation for this.”
“Ahh...”
Silence.
“Do you need water, Phichit?”
“No. I'll choke.”
“Err...”
“Yuuri...”
“Yes?”
“My poor beautiful smol son...” And then, Phichit wailed.
After an accident at the Free Skating warm-ups in Skate Canada for Season 2014 - 2015, Yuuri Katsuki changed. Everyone is in for a ride and Phichit is only eager to stoke the fire.
