"Really..?" You punctuate the word with a skeptical arch of your brow, crossing your arms for good measure. "Gentlemen, this is Ghost City. We see more disasters in a day than some places do in a decade. And what kind of catastrophe? A misplaced ox cart? A gambling den brawl gone wrong?"
Mu Qing coughs, the sound suspiciously like a chuckle. He must relish this unexpected pushback. Even if it is pushback against them.
