Eight months after a peaceful revolution, Detroit has finally settled into a new status quo, with androids discovering lives without servitude and humans adjusting to lives without their servants. It isn't entirely comfortable yet; there are still some kinks to work out, but the tension is gone. However, the situation comes to a head once more when a mysterious android emerges from the derelict suburbs of the city to perpetrate multiple terrorist attacks against humans and androids. The DPD have limited time to find out who the android is, who made it, and how to stop it. Detective Y/N L/N. She had father/daughter relationship with the one and only Hank Anderson and had grown to love the RK800 Model, Connor. However, that love was taken away when Hank committed suicide and when Connor pulled a gun on himself as well while trying to speak to a crowd of deviants.
Everyone she loved was gone and now it’s just her. Or so she thought.
Soon after, the RK900 model shows up and completely turns her world upside. She can’t seem to get away from the feelings that are slowly rising within as she spends more time with the RK900 Connor as he reminds her of the Connor she once knew.
But she is afraid, afraid that she will grow to love the RK900 model and he will be taken from her. Or he won’t love her since he is an obedient android after all. What she doesn’t know though is that she has a much bigger impact on him than she realizes.
So much so that it might actually scare him.
