Almost a year later, once they found Eddie, and he had explained what he saw, Robin was the first to pull her card out.
“Is this “more people with super powers?” Because it sounds like it might be.” But Dustin was already shaking his head.
“Doesn’t matter, we didn’t see it. Eddie’s the only one who would get to mark that square off and he doesn’t have anyone who could verify it, so it doesn’t count.”
“What, and I cannot stress this enough, the fuck?” Eddie demanded. Steve shrugged from his corner, far enough away that Eddie couldn’t get him with that bottle without a run up. Not that he was thinking about that, or anything.
“You’ll get used to it. I think Dustin has a card for you in the bag if you want to play, none of us are anywhere close to bingo and unless things go horrifically, I think we’re probably going to stay that way.” Eddie cast a glance at him, looking both sort of amused and horrifically lost.
“Sure, why not. This has already been the weirdest, most horrific day of my life, let’s play bingo about it!”
