Summary
Mike Wheeler and Will Byers spend 300 years apart when the Doctor convinces Will that Mike needs to be protected from the Master, and neither of them are happy about it.
In this moment, Mike is epically unhappy about it, because for the past however many years he's been marooned in 1987--Bowie, Arizona in a house owned by his advisor, Professor Song as a result of his vortex manipulator being on the fritz. Somehow, he finds himself the operator of a safe haven for anybody who needs it--despite his insistence every time that it'll be the last.
Things get really complicated when Max and Lucas show up, having run away from Hawkins for god knows what, and they want Mike back for good, which just cannot happen. They get extra complicated when the Time Agency shows up, and the next thing you know, the world might end in Bowie, Arizona.

Summary
This is another ancient work along the same lines as initiative meetings, Time After, and Torchwood: Aftershock. It's been sitting in a document probably just as long as those, though I copied and pasted it into my prompt document a while ago. I thought about putting it in the prompt collections, but there's more actual sections of writing to the point it doesn't fit in one prompt box, and maybe that's too specific for a prompt anyway. I did fix one thing: I was so done with it that I just stopped bothering to paragraph between speaker dialogue at the end and for readability I have fixed that for this version.
Basically, Xander gets teleported into the Time Agency--and given that he's acting like Captain Xander would, he assumes he's teleported into his own Time Agent body. -
