For many it is a good way to end a song and sometimes how to die. For someone who lives loud and chaotic though, for someone who wants to go out with a bang, it can be no worse way to end a song, and no crueler way to die. Thus for someone like Joker, who lives to be remembered, there is no better way for him to die than to just fade away softly and be forgotten.
It is the cruelest and most fitting ending he deserves.
