Summary
To say Akechi's life has been hard is an understatement. After he was framed for a crime he didn’t commit, the guy really does not have it easy.
Convicted of assaulting a man, expelled from his school, and put on probation, he must attend Shujin Academy in the city Shibuya for one year. If he makes it through his probation, he has the chance of having his record wiped clean and being able to live a normal life. If not, he can say goodbye to his future.
Akechi vows to stay away from anything that could land him into any more trouble.
But sadly, this was a promise that couldn't be kept. For fate had other ideas, for him to take on the role of a trickster and topple corruption.

Summary
Goro died in early December of 2016, he doesn't remember the day exactly. Goro went back to being dead on February 3rd, 2017, and he'd made peace with that. His one regret was how much pain his death surely caused the one person he'd sacrifice everything for. Had sacrificed everything for. When he opens his eyes on June 9th, 2016, that regret is the only thing on his mind. He knows it's already too late to make up for what he's done, but at the very least, he can save Akira from pain he shouldn't have to face. Maybe he can even save himself along the way.
"As our endings collide, I'm happy just knowing you'll find a way to catch me."

"Are you really so stupid!" Goro snaps. "Akira, I died on that stupid luxury liner in December. I was shot and Oracle told me with hundred percent certainty that my life signal was entirely gone! Are you really so stupid and selfish as to sacrifice the lives and trust of all of your friends to fail at saving a dead man? Akira — the only thing you can do for me when you return to the real world is to create a small memorial for me! There isn't even a body to bury!"
Akira loses it. "Haven't I earned a little selfishness?!"

If anybody asked, Goro wouldn’t be able to decide where this unfortunate series of events began.
Was it the time a news reporter caught in a scandal died under mysterious circumstances? When he suddenly realized his least favorite officer had a worse nephew with whom he’d have to share a classroom? Or would it be more accurate to say it began when his hand passed through the screen of a malfunctioning television?

Summary
When Akira was falsely accused of an assault, he never expected to be given the opportunity to work for his accuser and dismiss the charges. At first, all he thought it was going to be helping with campaign work. Instead, he became an assassin who uses a cognitive dimension to silently murder targets or make them go insane.
Akechi is an ace detective who's secretly manipulating the Metaverse to worm information out of criminals and solve his cases. Although, when the ghosts of his past are dug up, placing a new, much more challenging case into hands, he's left wondering what exactly this power truly entails. It's not until he wakes up in a blue room full of velvet, being told his fate has been twisted, that he realizes there's much more going on than he originally thought.
Kasumi is an unknowing transfer student thrown into a world she never even dreamed of.

Goro Akechi was found alive in the boiler room of the Diet Building and was supposed to be charged a life sentence for the assassinations and psychotic breakdown incidents. (Un)fortunately for him, his defense attorney Mei Arisugawa isn't incompetent nor fuelled by money, so now his sentence has been reduced to a year of probation. But not without striking a deal to assist Mei and Maruki in uncovering the origins of the Metaverse for the sake of true justice - to properly atone for his crimes.
Things suddenly take a turn when out of nowhere, Metaverse becomes a place the masses of Tokyo can come and go whenever they want, summon Persona and fight Shadows. Whether this changes society for the better or the worst, no one knows. But what Goro knows is that there's a gap in his memories, that something, *someone* important is missing from his head. And the mystery of Metaverse is something he definitely has to solve, because—
"If you do not slay the ancient evil resting at the very top of these ruins, the world will be destroyed."
