Adam’s off in the Hamptons with his parents. Not sure if Dad’s going to cut his honeymoon short — I hope not. My band has the biggest gig of our lives in under two weeks. We’re opening for actual mega-stars. No pressure.
On the less exciting side: my bracers are gone. So is my fancy new armored suit. Or rather… not gone. More like absorbed by my body. Along with a mysterious black ooze that also got absorbed. It hasn’t killed me yet. So that’s nice. Feels like a future-me problem.
