Summary
Duo Maxwell has had better days. Years, come to think of it. Probably better lifetimes too because this one sure ain't a shining example of the stellar. But it could be worse. He's got a Gundam to pilot, gets to blow stuff up every day, and routinely does not have to pay bills. Even has a team (sort of) to pitch in with the dirty work. The bad guys are bad, the good guys are good, and he hasn't died a virgin. Yet. There are no dark undercurrents, no deadly complications, just good, old fashioned Gundams vs. Oz for the maidenly honor of the colonies. Everything is what it seems to be.

It morphed and changed state with every person it touched; everyone in Research had the sniffles for a solid week before transforming into a stomach churning nausea that affected the pencil pushers working in Finance and even the poor souls in Artefact Storage ended up suffering through sore throats and hacking coughs not too soon after. It's been years since the Paranormal Liberation Front war had concluded. Endeavor is long dead, the commission is gone, and society has managed to keep moving forward. With his wings fully grown back, Hawks is out patrolling on Christmas eve when he and Dabi cross paths for the first time since that fateful event. Hawks wouldn't normally be so shaken but he's sick on top of the freezing weather and can't seem to control his panic. Meanwhile Dabi is ready to accept his deserved death at Hawks' hands only to end up taking him back to his apartment to help care for the sick hero.
