Summary
Peace had been brokered between Zaun and Piltover, but it is tenuous at best. The discovery of a strange blue device makes the council worried that someone has gotten their hands onto Hextech, and they have ill intentions. It’s inspired by the neo-gothic vibes of Lovecraft and Lukyanenko, and in terms of narration sometimes echoes Milton, Poe, Clark Ashton Smith, Anne Rice, and Clive Barker: pseudo-archaic language, body horror, psychological abuse, and religious motifs woven into a single story of dependence and cult.

I. Getaway stole the Lost Light, and nobody is happy about it except him. Three planets died, but Megatron didn't, and nobody knows where Overlord is. Optimus, Starscream, Ravage, Galvatron, and every other Cybertronian leader will have to deal with the fallout from Prowl's broken promise to the Galactic Council. And Rodimus wants his ship back.
II. The broken Matrix of Leadership was returned to Optimus before the war ended. But it's active again, and he's not controlling it.
III. Mirage will do anything to get Hound back--even go utterly mad again. Or worse, make peace with his amica, Kytherion.
IV. Galvatron refuses to give up his claim to Decepticon leadership. If Ravage wants to be the leader of Destron entire, she'll have to cancel him the old-fashioned way: by killing him herself, single-handedly. And the EDC would like her to do it as soon as possible.
Content Advisory: Canon soup with IDW/G1 base. This series began as a Soundwave/Ravage MTMTE fix-it fic. Heavily seasoned with Japanese G1 and TFP. By now you should know what to expect from me.
