It’s probably rusted as shit since no one goes back there; that’s where all the gardening tools were, and that was his mom’s domain. He moves to get out, but he looks back at Tommy, and something pulls in his gut, something awful.
Like falling, déjà vu. It makes his chest burn, and he rubs it for a second until it goes away. He has the undeniable feeling that he isn’t safe. That his family’s house is not right. The longer he stares at it, the more he gets the sense that it’s staring back.
