Rumors are racing through the city: patients who enter the Central Hospital with simple illnesses... never come out alive. No one knows why. No one suspects the doctor with the kind smile who works in the shadows.

Lo'ak Sully has just walked through the doors of that hospital. A fourteen-year-old boy, sick, ignored by a father who has never truly seen him. But when the fever doesn't break, Jake takes him to the hospital... and lets him enter the consultation alone, irritated at wasting his time.
He doesn't know that his son has just become the next experiment.
Because behind that door, a doctor obsessed with defying death sees Lo'ak as the perfect subject for her experiments. A sick child, alone. No one would notice if something goes "wrong."
What begins as a simple consultation turns into a weeks-long nightmare. A young body tearing apart, the doctor taking notes, waiting for the moment her experiment succeeds: to "revive" him and claim her place in medical history.
Meanwhile, Jake begins to realize something terrifying: his son is not getting better. He is dying.

Katara’s first instinct was to run to him, despite Sokka’s protests and his tugs on her sleeve. There was someone in need down there, and she wasn’t going to just leave him.
He looked about sixteen, at first glance, sprawled at the bottom of the cavity she’d created. His untidy black hair fell over his closed eyes. His face looked almost peaceful, she thought.
He was also wearing red.
When Katara cracks an iceberg to find a Fire Nation boy, hers and Sokka's initial thoughts are that he's a spy sent to kill them.

Sokka grumbles, knowing his face has gone pink. “Yeah, well, dudes don’t do that mushy shit,” he says. Suki takes off her sandal and whacks him on the top of the head sharply. “Ow! Okay, sorry! Sure, we’re two dude best friends who love each other, can you leave me alone now?”When Sokka is thirteen, the grumpy boy and his weird uncle turn up in Wolf Cove. Zuko is rude, he's annoying, and he's a puzzle Sokka just can't solve. It's exactly what he needs to make things interesting around here.
A story about two teenagers making it to adulthood in their own ways.

Summary
It’s Zuko’s second Camp Boomerang summer, and as the camp fills with kids again it feels more like home than anywhere has in a very long time.
Sokka braces for a summer season that doesn’t quite feel right. It’ll be Katara’s last summer before going to med school, and she’s spending half of it at an internship. Camp feels…off this year. And Zuko doesn’t need anywhere near the same amount of help he did last summer and…Sokka has no idea what to do with himself.
Azula takes a summer job at the camp, filling in for Zuko in the kitchen with Aunt Wu, as a way to fill the weeks before starting law school. She signs up for a summer job and ends up getting a great deal more than she bargained for.

Summary
As tempers flare and negotiations break down after the Hundred Year’s War, the only issue the Fire Nation and Earth Kingdom can agree on is that Azula is dangerous. The fallen princess is bartered as a negotiation point and after her bending is taken, she is sent to the Southern Water Tribe as an indentured servant to help them rebuild after the war.
Fate intervenes and Azula is offered a new gift as her old life is stripped away. She sets her mind to becoming a Life Binder and Azula looks to begin a new life as the world she grew up with fades away. Becoming the Jade Sage, she finds that even with her new skills, the world is a dangerous place and her past may still come back to haunt her.
