Summary
Steve Harrington and Eddie Munson have one thing in common, and that is their love for a certain group of kids. They don't like each other. They don't trust each other. They each come with their own set of issues, prejudices and unhealthy habits. Hoepfully the co-parenting won't awaken anything, or trigger the long, messy path of healing all those underlying issues that prevent both of them from forming healthy relationships with people their own age.

Summary
His hand burst from the ground first.
Then dirty nails like claws, and scratched up scabby elbows clambering blindly from the soggy soil - breathless, ragged gasps heaving over, sinking into and swallowing whole the soft stillness of the lingering twilight.
Disturbed birds fluttered, fleeting, from the tallest branches of surrounding trees as he ripped through the slimy placenta that cloaked over him thickly like curdled oil, sticky and pulling back at him as he dragged himself bodily out onto the forest floor.
His hair, long and wispy down the back of his neck from overgrowth and isolation, dripped with caustic bloody ooze. He couldn’t find it in himself to care. The taste of normal air, its crisp caress across his face like a cool balm and a welcome home was enough to make him cry.
Fuck that. He couldn't stop crying.

Summary
They escaped the lab. They fought monsters. They survived the Upside Down.
Humans were far harder to defeat.
Jim Hopper and Steve Harrington are trapped in a Russian prison, held in brutal conditions. A violent and sadistic Russian officer fixates on Steve, and Hopper is powerless to intervene as the kid he used to lecture about parties and beer becomes a target of relentless torment. When a chaotic rescue mission saves Hopper but forces him to leave Steve behind, he makes a plan to go back for him on his own.
The Party doesn't abandon its own, though, and Steve belongs to them. With the kids, some helpful adults, and the teens who are still unsure how they've gotten dragged into so many life-or-death situations, Hopper heads back into hell to save the kid he failed.
This time, he'll die before he leaves Steve behind.

Summary
Steve hasn’t thought much about the silence from his parents. It’s been weeks since he saw them, but that’s normal. They’re probably avoiding Hawkins after all the headlines. Maybe at the holiday home in Spain, maybe visiting friends or one of his grandparents. He doesn’t dwell on it.
So, when someone knocks at the door, it barely registers that everyone invited to movie night is already in the living room.
