Summary
The voice, Feng Xin registered dumbfoundedly, despite the broken phrases in which it spoke mingling into each other, tumbling over each other so fast it sounded like there were at least four Mu Qing's speaking, was now clear as day and impossibly close, far too close to be coming from someone who had just turned, facing away from him. In an ultimate attempt to refute his suspicion, he let his mind flicker to their private communication array, only to find it firmly closed. He stared at Mu Qing’s back, wide-eyed, his mouth suddenly very, very dry. If he wasn't hallucinating, then there was only one explanation for what was happening:
He was hearing Mu Qing’s thoughts.
On a mission with his hated rival Mu Qing, Feng Xin is hit by a blast - and suddenly he can hear Mu Qing's thoughts. All of them. Everywhere. And what he learns makes him question whether he's ever known Mu Qing at all.

Summary
The original story of Judas never sat right with me. Why is Judas so ignored in the gospels? I want to hear his side of the story. Since that will never happen I decided to write this little character study of Judas and Jesus and their relationship. God is not the 'Bad Guy', but he is an ineffable puppet master. Jesus is a mediator through and through. Judas is covetous and ambitious, just not the way God intended.
In other words, my religious trauma hit me like a truck and I've been on the verge of a minor anxiety attack all week. So i decided to put my energy into writing this wonderful little fic (that will probable get me sent to outer darkness) instead of focusing on all the grad school work I still need to complete.
(side-note: i was raised in a very orthodox LDS household so my version of events may differ from the bible you know)

Summary
Cain was a sensitive child, he cried the first time he learned what meat was. He prefered to nurture the soil and his crops. Cain may not have been favored by his God or family, but he did his best to provide. It was never much, but it was honest work. Unfortunately, the Lord thy God isn't quite on board with Cain's attitude toward life and decides to get involved. It all goes downhill from there.
In other words, I have a lot of religious trauma. Instead of therapy I reexamine bible stories and rewrite them with empathy. I think that in many of these stories accountability must fall on the shoulders of the all knowing and all powerful God and not the people. Anyway, long story short this is another character study of one of the 'villians' of the bible.
