Summary
In Minato’s defense, most of the edible treasures they find are good for healing or restoring energy. He also won’t ask anyone to eat or drink something that he himself would not. So drinking a weird bottle of something seemed like a perfectly reasonable thing at the time. Besides while unhealed injuries might follow them out of the Dark Hour if they don’t heal them before they leave, ailments don’t even last outside of battles. Based on everything they know about fighting during the Dark Hour, he should be perfectly fine drinking random things he finds in Tartarus.
Which is why despite the insistence of at least half of the team to do otherwise, he drunk the weird potion bottle thing anyway.
Should be, having been the key words.
But for the record, it did, in fact, heal.
