Summary
Bella Swan wasn’t supposed to come back to Forks alone.
She comes with a shadow made of white bows and stubborn loyalty: her younger sister, Annalise—cheer captain, soccer forward, Charlie’s favorite co-conspirator, and an honorary fixture of La Push long before she ever moved in with the Chief.
Forks remembers “little Annie Swan” from summers on the rez and weekends in the diner. Jacob, Quil, and Embry remember the girl who rebuilt a white Tacoma with them and never missed a bonfire. Paul Lahote remembers her too… though the version in his head is all scraped knees and too-big hoodies, not the sharp, quietly fierce junior who volunteers to tutor him in English.
While Bella is pulled into Edward Cullen’s orbit—ice-cold stares, impossible rescues, and a dance of denial—Annalise finds herself caught between worlds: gossiping humans, secretive Cullens, and La Push boys who are starting to run too hot under their own skin.
