“Jeez, you really are sick.” Will muttered and Mike choked out a laugh.
“‘S just my luck.” He murmured, ignoring the way his head spun when he lifted it from the toilet seat.
Even under the harsh white light of the bathroom, Will still looked good, his honey brown eyes furrowed in concern and lips slightly parted. He was beautiful, and Mike wanted to bite him.
He recoiled a bit at the thought but now that he had thought it, it wouldn't go away. He could imagine it, digging his teeth into Will’s wrist, blood beading from the teeth marks faster than he could lick it up. The rushing in his ears got louder, twin heartbeats thudding in his ears and Mike turned to heave into the toilet again, not even bothering to stop the sobs that were ripping through him.

Resisting the urge to close the gap between them and take back all he’d said was the hardest thing Will had done in quite some time—but now that the truth was out there, however more cruelly than he’d ever intended on delivering it, he wasn’t backpedaling. This was a conversation that needed to happen, for the sake of their friendship and Will’s remaining sanity.
If only he’d been smart enough to consider it wasn’t a conversation that needed to happen here.
When the blood dries, when the adrenaline clears, when pure blinding panic subsides enough for something resembling cognition to return to the forefront of his frazzled mind, all Will is left with is this:

The pain strikes all of a sudden, shooting up from his neck as if to accompany the fog in his mind. He tries to move and realises that Wilhelm is pressing him against the wet wall. His body heats up at the threat, wanting to pick up his arms to push the boy off, but instantly Mike realises that his limbs are frozen. He looks down to see the cigarette slowly sliding through his limp fingers until it drops to the ground. The heat in his body quickly becomes torture, spreading like a thousand needle pricks. Even when he opens his mouth to scream, Mike doesn’t hear any sound come out of his throat, the only noise in the alleyway being Wilhelm shifting against him, tilting his head so he can sink his fangs deeper into Mike’s neck.
