Wei Wuxian is a necromancer living out in the woods after being banished, and Lan Wangji is an esteemed cultivator sent to investigate him. When the initial investigation concludes and his superiors tell him to continue it in secret, he follows the advice of a friend to pretend that he is wooing this dangerous necromancer as a reason to keep visiting without raising his suspicion. This may or may not turn into genuine wooing, and said necromancer may or may not be quite amenable to this (lol of course he is), as is the cultivator.

Summary
Gale Dekarios returns to Waterdeep after a decade long marriage that ended in him losing his job and good standing with the faculty at Baldur's Gate University, along with his reputation and home. He had spent his prime trying to please his ex-wife any way he could, only for her to throw him to the wayside for any young man that gave her the time of day.
Wanting to start anew, he returns to his home town, moving into his childhood bedroom that seems to be the only thing that hasn't changed in his absence.
Then an invitation gets posted through the door.
It's to the Caaraeilsaad Masquerade, a centennial masked ball held at the Silverhand estate, where masked Fae come to Waterdeep to look for their Soulmate.
Every Waterdhavian is told about the Caaraeilsaad Masquerade, and each one of them dreams of being one of the few to find true love.
Gale had never thought he would be one of those invited, and he knows he won't be one of those lucky enough to fulfil that dream. But he has to attend, he has no choice.
At least no one will recognise him with the mask his family has handed down for generations.

He probably would’ve been a bit bitter about it, but Hyrule was so kind and sincere that it was difficult to stay upset for long. No, having Hyrule over wasn’t a problem at all.
The problem was that wherever he went, there was also Legend. And Legend was an asshole.

Summary

It’s inhumane torture at the price of earning a profit and providing entertainment for a crowd. It gets even worse when she finds out one of the top fighters is someone no older than her, a pink haired girl with metal-clad fists and a sharp tongue to match, who’s fighting spirit reminds her far too much of her own.
It’s quickly discovered that something far more dangerous is brewing beyond the walls of Piltover, something that is far worse than anyone could have prepared for.
