After Stephanies return, she has come to realized she wasn't mourn by anybody but her lover, Cassandra who is now to grief streaked and angry to care for her girlfriend. Stephanie is replaced by Duke and forgotten about. But Damian comes around and latched onto Stephanie.

He established connections throughout the city, with the street kids and the elderly, the parents and the shopowners, and they became a family. He even adopted a couple of kids, and he was happy for the first time in a while. But in the life of Jason Todd, nothing stays the same for long.
Jason disappeared into the timestream, and the locals his will. His children were to go to a man named Roy Harper, and if that wasn't possible, they were meant to be sent to his ex-family. The Waynes. The residents of Park Row didn't know a "Roy Harper", and for all they knew it could be an alias. So they did the next best thing. -
