Oswald had mixed feelings about being brought back as a Tarnished, to say the least. The notion that a sorcerer of moderate talent such as he could be a candidate for Elden Lord made his head spin. Nevertheless, he follows the Guidance of the Grace that has been returned to him, for better or for worse. When he encounters a large half-wolf in the Mistwood, he has no idea how closely the Guidance has bound their fates.
This concept started with more or less an idea I wanted to write for changing Blaidd's ending. It has become a story where Blaidd becomes a traveling companion to the Tarnished. I intend for it to be a slow burn romance that eventually achieves the initial goal, but I don't know how many chapters is good slow burn pacing so don't blame me if I jump the gun. The other best description I can think of is a slightly canon-compliant fix-it fic. I tried to stick to the rules of the universe as I understand them.
If you read the title and know the game it's pretty obvious what I'm planning to do. It's not subtle and it doesn't need to be, frankly. Idk if this title is taken or if it's just too cheesy to already be, but it's what I thought of.
