Four years down the lane, Sam and Dean run a garage and have their own respective relationships. Cas lives an apple pie life with his daughter and his job as a high school history teacher. Until it is all thrown into disarray, when someone kidnaps their daughter. A Frantic Cas calls Sam for help.
Or.. Chuck underestimates the profound bond. Dean is so deep in the closet, he has a castle in Narnia. Cas has a happy life, but he still doesn't experience true happiness. He can't experience it anymore now that he has a daughter to take care of. He does not have time for the Empty and the impending prophecy.
