Maybe, in another life, they were able to stick together free of suffering, untouched by pain.Torchbearer wouldn't be sitting under a tree, completely lonely. Thinking about those brown eyes and pointy nose that he would love to softly kiss each morning when they would wake up together. And Clancy wouldn't be collecting those yellow flowers inside a drawer, hoping to give them to his curly boy while offering his love in whispered confessions
Reality is far crueler. As the lines between past and present blur, Clancy fights to hold onto himself, but how do you resist when even your own mind betrays you?
