“Wake up!! Alfred made pancakes!” An excited voice yelled into Bruce’s ear. He didn’t startle awake, already far too used to going through this. “Let me guess, mama sent you?” Bruce mumbled, pulling his head away from his pillow to look at Jason. The eight-year old gave a firm nod with his hands on his hips and a large grin on his lips. The boy’s face quickly switched to shock as Bruce wrapped his arms around him and pulled him down to lay down. “No! Dick will eat my pancakes!” Jason complained, trying to squirm out of Bruce’s hold as the other man pretended to fall back asleep.
“I’m just so tired, Jay. Keep me company a little longer.” Bruce says dramatically, his head falling back against the pillow as he pretends to sleep once more. Jason laughs, pushing at Bruce’s arms. “No, let me go dad! Hurry or there will be no more pancakes left!” He complains

Stray groaned and shoved him off the bench, sending him tumbling to the floor.
“I told you to stop calling me that,” he laughed, ignoring the uncomfortable pit of dread in his stomach. “I’m serious, Jason. Be careful, okay?”
Robin pulled him down to the floor and into his strong embrace, laughing as he tried to wriggle free. “I will, Tim. I promise."
Five days later, Jason Todd was dead.
At the age of fifteen, Tim Drake lost his best friend, his everything, his Robin. After spending five years overcome with grief and sorrow, he has just regained some semblance of normalcy when a new vigilante comes crashing into his life. One with an obnoxious red helmet whose stubbornness and oddly protective nature feel strangely familiar.
At the age of seventeen, Jason Todd was brutally murdered. Five agonizingly long years later, he returns to Gotham and, unable to stay away from his other half for long, goes crashing into his life, managing to conceal his identity for months before his lie of omission finally blows up in his face.

In Duke's defense, he and Damian were left alone in a massive semi-sentient house with a kitchen just waitingto be used.
Or, Damian is feeling homesick, and since Duke is the best big brother he can be, and he relates a little too much to what his little brother is feeling, the only logical choice is to break the kitchen ban and make some comfort food.
It doesn't go as planned.
